The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT AP) has issued important proceedings regarding CCRT training programmes for in-service teachers during October 2026.
The training programmes are being organised by the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), Ministry of Culture, Government of India, with the objective of integrating cultural inputs into school pedagogy.

CCRT Training Programmes – October 2026
- Role of Puppetry in Education in Line with NEP 2020
Training Dates: 1–16 October 2026
Eligibility: Government/Government-aided school teachers teaching Classes I to V
Age: Up to 52 years at the time of registration
Venue: CCRT Regional Centre, Madhapur, Hyderabad, Telangana
Teachers: 10
The programme focuses on using puppetry as an educational aid. Teachers will learn puppet preparation and manipulation, educational script writing, storytelling, role play, voice modulation, mime and other related activities.
- Our Cultural Diversity
Training Dates: 5–14 October 2026
Eligibility: Government/Government-aided school teachers teaching Classes I to XII
Age: Up to 52 years
Venue: Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra Society, Guwahati, Assam
Teachers: 10
This workshop focuses on India’s ethnic and cultural diversity, different art forms and the use of cultural traditions in classroom teaching. It also aims to promote national integration among students and teachers.
- Integrating Craft Skills in School Education
Training Dates: 7–16 October 2026
Eligibility: Government/Government-aided school teachers teaching Classes I to X
Subjects: Craft, Drawing, Painting, Arts, SUPW/WE
Age: Up to 52 years
Venue: CCRT Regional Centre, Udaipur, Rajasthan
Teachers: 10
Teachers will receive practical exposure to crafts such as pottery, clay modelling, papier-mâché, mask making, tie and dye, rangoli, bamboo work, book binding and paper toy making.
- Role of Museum in School Education
Training Dates: 26–30 October 2026
Eligibility: Government/Government-aided school teachers teaching Classes I to XII
Age: Up to 52 years
Venue: CCRT, Dwarka, New Delhi
Teachers: 10
The workshop aims to train teachers to use museums as centres of learning and to develop worksheets, activity sheets and school-level museum corners for students.
Who Can Apply?
According to the SCERT AP proceedings:
Teachers should be up to 52 years of age at the time of registration.
A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
Only teachers working on a regular basis are eligible.
Teachers who have already attended the same CCRT training programme should not be deputed again.
Preference may be given to eligible female teachers, SC/ST/OBC teachers and teachers from interior rural and tribal areas.
Free Boarding and Lodging
The CCRT training programmes are conducted in residential mode. Free boarding and lodging facilities will be provided at the training venue. Separate arrangements will be made for female teachers.
Travelling Expenses
Eligible participants will receive travelling expense reimbursement according to CCRT norms. The reimbursement will be transferred to the authorised bank account through RTGS/NEFT/ECS after successful completion of the training.
No Dearness Allowance (DA) will be paid.
Participants should preserve the required journey tickets and documents for claiming TA. The CCRT guidelines specify eligible rail travel and applicable conditions for travel reimbursement.

Eligible teachers should:
- Check the eligibility criteria for the required training programme.
- Select the appropriate CCRT workshop.
- Open the prescribed Google Form.
- Enter the required details carefully.
- Submit the application before the deadline.
- Ensure that the application is forwarded by the concerned authorities wherever required.
The last date for submission is 03 September 2026. SCERT AP has instructed Regional Joint Directors and District Educational Officers to identify eligible teachers and ensure timely submission.
